In this session, teachers will make and take a series of documents for students’ accommodations that can be used for assessments. This includes a document where all of their students’ accommodations are stored, labels to be placed on assessments, and a document outlining all of a student’s testing accommodations. This is for all core subjects at the middle school and/or high school.

Empower your students to discover their unique leadership style while building a strong, positive classroom culture through an engaging and creative project. In this session, participants will learn how to guide students in creating a Personal Leadership Philosophy poster using Adobe Express. This project encourages students to think critically about their leadership identity and appreciate their peers' strengths, fostering collaboration and mutual respect.

Participants will be guided through a sample Socratic Seminar to gain an understanding of how to use this practice in class.

Effective communication between teachers and parents is crucial for fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for students. In this session, participants will explore the importance of building strong, collaborative partnerships with parents and learn strategies for clear, respectful, and consistent communication. We will discuss practical tools and approaches for initiating and maintaining open lines of dialogue, handling challenging conversations with empathy and professionalism, and setting goals together to support student success. Whether through conferences, emails, or phone calls, this session will equip educators with the skills and confidence to engage parents effectively and ensure that students receive the best possible support both in the classroom and at home.
