Project Based Learning Tips and Tricks LIMITED
Monday February 17, 2025 9:30am - 10:15am CST
I am a middle school CTE teacher. Since I use so many projects as a part of the curriculum, as opposed to tests, I have developed some useful processes. I will share how I use Skill Builders, which help with the “extra time” after some students finish, how I have students request regrades, how I incorporate choice in projects, and scaffolding.

You will be provided with an expository writing sample to experience this technique. We will also discuss: how you can revise the criteria to suite your grade level, how to use this technique to assess beginning, middle, and end of the year student writing progress, and how to incorporate the criteria in other genres of writing.
